The all-new Yamaha YZF-R9 isn’t just another sportbike—it’s a long-awaited evolution in the Supersport category, engineered to bring track-level performance to the street. Featuring a torquey CP3 powerplant, a dedicated Supersport chassis, and an advanced electronics package, the R9 is built for riders who crave speed, precision, and the undeniable thrill of the ride.


This bike is designed for two types of riders: track day enthusiasts who will push its performance limits and street riders who thrive on carving canyon twisties alone or with friends. Yamaha wanted to make a bold statement with the launch, showcasing not only the R9’s aggressive styling but also its cutting-edge technology. To achieve this, they needed an unforgettable campaign that delivered high-energy action, deep technical insights, and broad market reach.


To capture the essence of the R9, we developed the "Elevate to R World" campaign—an aspirational call to action that positioned the R9 as the next-level ride for those seeking high-adrenaline performance. The campaign revolved around two key components: an exhilarating conceptual action video and a groundbreaking feature-benefit film that redefined how motorcycle technology is presented.

For authenticity, we selected two of the most visually striking and performance-driven locations: the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, TX—one of the most iconic racetracks in the U.S.—and the winding canyon roads, where the R9’s balance of power and agility could be fully unleashed. To push the visual storytelling to the next level, we implemented an innovative shooting style using robotic camera arms, advanced lighting design, and a specialized team of robotic operators. This cutting-edge approach allowed us to capture the R9 with cinematic precision, creating a heart-pumping feature-benefit video that showcased the bike’s technology like never before. The production also incorporated parallaxing supers, emphasizing key features in a visually dynamic way.

To amplify the campaign’s impact, our media team developed a robust strategy, focusing heavily on social media to engage the target audience where they spend most of their time. Leveraging influencer partnerships, targeted ads, and interactive content, we ensured maximum visibility and engagement.


By tapping into the aspirational mindset of the R9 rider, the Elevate to R World campaign not only positioned the Yamaha R9 as the must-have Supersport but also set a new benchmark for how motorcycle launches should be executed. From the pulse-racing action shots at COTA to the breathtaking canyon rides, every element of the campaign reinforced the bike’s identity as the ultimate blend of speed, style, and cutting-edge performance.


And maybe the most amazing thing? Despite its race-ready DNA, MotoGP-inspired styling, and advanced electronics, Yamaha delivered all this at an incredible price point of just $12,499—making high-performance Supersport riding more accessible than ever.
